Mass Service & Supply's home office is located in a mixed industrial, commercial, residential area that has a high number of socially disadvantaged and/or unemployed residents in the neighborhood. It is categorized as a Historically Under-utilized Business Zone in need of economic development.
By locating our office in this HUBZone area, Mass hopes to help the economic development of the immediate area and the entire community.
By actively seeking out and utilizing small business and minority subcontractors from our home office area, Mass is supporting the small business community and contributing to the economic development of our community.
By employing local individuals, Mass increases the employment opportunities for socially disadvantage people in our immediate area. Many of these individuals do not have reliable transportation. In response, Mass implemented a carpool program to transport employees from Pueblo to the higher paying Davis Bacon jobs on the military and government facilities along the Front Range.
