Business Profile as of April 2009 Mass Service & Supply, LLC is a small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HUBZone certified construction business that specializes in general contracting. Contracts and/or task orders are always completed on time or ahead of schedule. As a result of timely completion, an excellent safety record, and above average contract management Mass has outstanding references. All contracts and task orders have been executed and closed with no disputes. Mass is a small business with owners and employees who are willing to dedicate themselves to the continued growth of the company through professional work completed in a well-timed manner and with customer service as its top priority. Mass is currently working on projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, United States Air Force Academy Contracting, Pueblo Chemical Depot, Peterson Air Force Base, FE Warren Air Force Base, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Directorate of Contracting at Fort Carson. Mass has successfully completed several task orders under three umbrella contracts with the United States Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, covering small construction projects in Colorado and Wyoming. The scope of these projects has ranged from resurfacing parking lots, landscaping, roof installations, installing fire suppression systems, sewer main and water line work, fence construction, asbestos abatement, new construction, and renovations. The projects listed have been accomplished at several different bases to include Fort Carson, Peterson Air Force Base, Air Force Academy, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station and Schriever Air Force Base. Currently, Mass is completing two Silver-LEED design-build contracts for the Corps of Engineers. The HQ Band Training Facility is sized for a 45-person band and will house practice and rehearsal rooms, a recording/audio control room, administrative area, instrument cleaning, instrument storage, day area, toilets and additional storage. The facility is 12,480 square feet. The Soldier Family Assistance Center is a 15,000 square foot facility, the equivalent of a community center in the civilian sector. Supporting facilities include site work, utilities, information systems, POV parking, sidewalks, roads, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, landscaping, and other site improvements. Mass has received eleven Outstanding Performance Evaluation awards from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Mass has a longstanding relationship with the Pueblo Chemical Depot. The Depot utilizes Mass for many of their maintenance, renovation, and civil projects. Current projects at the Depot include the Renovations of Building 91 & 485, Building 2 Operations Center Improvements and Renovation of Building 1. Fort Carson Directorate of Contracting is one of our most significant customers and from whom Mass has received numerous Outstanding evalutations. One of these projects was a time sensitive extensive restoration of Building 1118 which houses the Division West Headquarters. This project was completed on schedule for $3,539,599.00. Building 6237 consisted of the historical renovation of a World War II-era building which once housed the hospital at Fort Carson with a construction amount of $3,070,883.59. The refurbished building is the home of the new Fort Carson Family Readiness Center with facilities to support the family members of Fort Carson's deployed soldiers. The 10th Special Forces Complex ($3,018,715.23) consisted of the construction of four pre-engineered metal buildings. Each building was a 5,000 square foot facility. The buildings are utilized as training facilities for the 10th Special Forces. The Wounded Warrior project consisted of work at several different locations under one contract. Building 1161 serves as the Administrative Headquarters for the Transition Unit Battalion at Fort Carson. This project included abatement, selective demolition, interior finishes, mechanical, electrical, copper and fiber optic cables. A fire protection system with exterior fire line was installed as well as a new electrical transformer. Additional work included Construction of the ITAM Building, Installation of a 100 & 75 KVA generators with automatic transfer switch as well as installation of two stand-along boilers in two buildings including approximately 500 feet of underground steam lines. The Flagship Building 2077, 2058 & 2057 projects were completed simultaneously in three buildings and required strict organization of subcontractors and suppliers. This project was completed on schedule. Mass is currently completing work on Butts Dining Hall and Reservoir 7900. The USDA Forest Service is another customer that Mass has successfully performed work for. Two projects completed for the Forest Service are the Lake Isabel Water Rehab Project and the Dam Valve Replacement at Lake Isabel. The last completed project with the Forest Service was a Water System Rehabilitation at the Painted Rocks Campground near Woodland Park, CO. Mass also enjoys an excellent relationship with the VA Hospital in Denver, CO where they have completed several projects. One project was a pharmacy renovation which involved phasing of work, infection control, construction of a clean room, and coordinating work in an occupied area. The second project was the renovation of the Café Bistro in the food court. Next, Mass completed the VA Nursing Home in Denver, CO requiring an extensive renovation with work consisting of flooring, painting, drywall, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and landscaping. The VA Facility Improvement Contract required miscellaneous renovations to be completed throughout the VA Hospital and Chapel. Mass also completed the VA Safety Improvements, Infusion Clinic and Specialty Care Clinic. Currently Mass is completing the Restroom Renovation as a Joint Venture with Liberty General Contractors, LLC. Another important customer is the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Mass has successfully completed three projects for the Academy. The first project was the construction of the Falcon Mews Building. The second project completed at the Air Force Academy, within time and under budget, was the addition to the Fire Arms Training Simulator Building. Mass is currently in the process of a delivery order contract to paint the static displays, including the B-52 Bomber, which are located throughout the Academy. Mass has also completed two contracts with Bechtel National, Inc in conjunction with the Pueblo Chem DeMil Project. One of these contracts was a tenant finish project for the renovation of two suites in the Pueblo Historical Union Depot to house Bechtel’s Community Outreach Office.
